Product Description

When I started Drone Rock Records I never imagined that I’d get to 20 releases under my belt. But, amazingly, that is exactly where we are and, as its the 20th release, I thought it’d be worth doing something extra special. Therefore I am pleased to announce  the first double vinyl LP on Drone Rock Records with the added bonus of it being recorded by one of the most well received artists I’ve worked with….Domboshawa from Sweden. ‘Beyond Virations’ is over 100 minutes of top rate Space Rock with Domboshawa’s signature blending of improvised mellow, blissed-out tracks with psychedelic freak-outs.

“Through vast, open soundscapes, Domboshawa takes you on an interstellar trip that seemingly effortlessly floats further into space with every drone. Slow paced, groove based aviation to explore new lands…buy the ticket, take the ride!”

Sly Vinyl

This is going to be a super limited pressing of 250 copies, housed in a gorgeous gatefold sleeve with one LP pressed on orange vinyl and the other on pink vinyl.

Domboshawa

Domboshawa is the psychedelic solo project of Anders Broström from Stockholm, Sweden.
After the breakup of the hardrock/psych band Amaxa in 2015, Anders  built a small studio in Hägersten and started to record drones and jams. His main goal was, and still is, to record very psychedelic music.
He named the project Domboshawa after an inspiring hike on the magic mountain Domboshawa in Harare Zimbabwe.
The first album Dark Lights was released on cassette on the Swedish label Ljudkassett! in October 2016.

In 2017 he released his first vinyl LP on Drone Rock Records titled ”Minds Electrix”. He followed that with two digital releases, ”Vibrations” and ”Beyond Zero” and every song bar one from the two of them will appear on the upcoming  double vinyl album, “Beyond Vibrations”, due to be released in November 2018 on Drone Rock Records.

Anders plays guitar, bass, drums and synthesizers.
